Richweb has been in the Richmond area since 1995, and works today out of Ashland, 15 miles north of the city. We have customers across Virginia, offices and equipment we manage throughout the United States, and a handful of sites overseas.
Managed IT services, network engineering, monitoring, and private cloud are delivered remotely, so they reach any of those equally. Onsite work is the part that depends on geography, and this page lays out exactly how that piece works.
Most IT companies leave this vague. Here is the actual shape of it.
One piece of geography does more work than it looks like: we sit just off where I-95 meets I-295, and I-295 loops around Richmond onto I-64. Reaching a site on the far side of the city means going around it rather than through it, so an appointment across town is not hostage to downtown traffic.

Onsite is a routine part of the service here. Installs, moves, hands-on troubleshooting when remote tools cannot finish the job, and sitting in the room for a planning session are all normal.

It reaches Hanover County, where the office is, and Henrico and Chesterfield on either side of the city: Glen Allen, Short Pump and Innsbrook out west, Mechanicsville and Atlee to the north, Midlothian, Bon Air and Chester to the south, then Colonial Heights, Hopewell and Petersburg at the bottom of it. Goochland, Powhatan, New Kent and Caroline sit at the quieter edges of the same ring. Inside it, coming to you is a drive rather than a project.
We manage offices, networks, and equipment for customers across the United States and a handful of sites outside it.
